WORKSHOPS

The workshops organized by Energyear are exclusive spaces where companies present their ideas, projects, and solutions in a dynamic and interactive format.

Please note that  event access does not include the workshops  and that  each workshop requires independent registration .

The workshops will take place in parallel to the official agenda of Energyear Spain. They will have an exclusive space, with separate entry and exit from the main event, and require independent registration from the conference.

COST-FREE PARTICIPATION, although it is necessary to register in advance for each workshop of interest, as registration is individual per session. The company running the workshop reserves the right of admission.

NEXTRACKER TO NEXTPOWER: REDEFINING THE FUTURE OF THE SOLAR INDUSTRY

In today’s high-uncertainty market, tracker and technology selection can make or break your project’s returns.

Wind events, hail exposure, supply chain instability, cost pressure, and evolving technology risks are redefining what it takes to build a truly bankable solar asset. The right tracker strategy is no longer just about following the sun — it’s about protecting capital, optimizing lifetime performance, and securing predictable long-term returns.

Join Nextpower’s experts for a focused 60-minute workshop where we break down how tracker selection and design directly impact:

  • Lower LCOE
  • Reduced technical and financial risk
  • Stronger supply chain reliability
  • Enhanced extreme weather resilience
  • Higher energy yield and long-term asset performance

This session connects engineering decisions with financial outcomes — demonstrating how optimized tracker systems translate into stronger project economics and increased investment confidence.

If you are a Developer, EPC, Long-Term Owner, or Technical Advisor looking to de-risk projects while enhancing profitability, this workshop is designed for you. Developer, EPC, propietario a largo plazo o asesor técnico y buscas reducir riesgos mientras mejoras la rentabilidad de tus proyectos, esta sesión está diseñada para ti.

ALL-TERRAIN SOLAR TRACKERS: DISCOVER THE L:TEC® FAMILY WITH OUR EXPERTS

In an increasingly competitive solar market, the choice of tracking system directly impacts energy yield, project bankability, and construction complexity. In this workshop, IDEEMATEC will present the L:TEC® family, a modular solar tracker platform based on a common architecture and a shared technological DNA. With more than 9 GW installed across six continents, we will explore how this platform enables the optimization of utility-scale and agrivoltaic projects, adapting to real site conditions such as terrain, wind, and land use. Additionally, we will look at how a design based on pre-assembled components can accelerate installation, reduce on-site complexity, and improve construction efficiency—key factors for EPCs and developers seeking to maximize performance and profitability.

SPEAKERS:

· Beatrice Scola, Senior Vice President Europe and LATAM and Managing Director Spain, IDEEMATEC

· José Cano, Sales Engineer, IDEEMATEC

· Juan Valadés, Sales Engineer, IDEEMATEC

· Roberto Moreno, Geotechnical Engineer, IDEEMATEC

INDUSTRIALIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE THROUGH PREFABRICATED COMPACT SUBSTATIONS BY MEINS

In a context of rapid growth in energy projects, the construction of electrical infrastructure is facing new challenges: pressure on timelines and costs, greater complexity on site, an increasing shortage of skilled labor, and the need for reliable solutions based on technology and Made in EU manufacturing that ensure quality, traceability, and resilience in the supply chain.

Traditional on-site construction models require a high level of coordination between multiple suppliers and a strong dependence on specialized resources in the field. The industrialization of electrical substations through prefabricated compact solutions makes it possible to transfer a large part of the engineering, integration, and testing to controlled industrial environments, reducing the reliance on complex on-site work and improving project predictability.

In this session, we will analyze how prefabricated compact substations developed by MEINS help optimize the execution of electrical projects by combining industrial design, European manufacturing, and integrated solutions to meet the new demands of the sector.

During the workshop, we will explore how this approach enables:

· Reduced construction and commissioning timelines

· Lower dependence on specialized on-site labor

· Minimized risks and complexity during installation

· Improved quality and reliability through industrial manufacturing

· Greater predictability in costs and project schedules

· Enhanced supply security through Made in EU solutions

A session aimed at developers, EPCs, utilities, and investors interested in new ways to build electrical infrastructure in a faster, more efficient, and more reliable way.

SPEAKERS:

· Alejandro González, CEO, Meins
· Jesús Vicente, CTO & Sales, Meins
