s2 NEGÓCIOS latam

COLLABORATOR PARTNER

S2 Business LATAM is a company/project that (re)emerged from the opportunity and desire of its founder, Guilherme Chrispim, to return to work in the commercial and business development sector in Latin America. It’s worth noting that the «re-emerged» applies to the context since it’s not the first initiative being proposed. S2 Soluciones Sostenibles was born in Panama in October 2014. The experience gained in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, especially photovoltaic solar, made S2 a pioneer in Panama.

In 2015, realizing the potential for growth in the Brazilian market, S2 Soluções em Serviços Ltda was established in Brazil. Indeed, the Brazilian market has experienced exponential growth since then, particularly from 2019 onward.

From 2015 to 2020, S2 extended its work to other countries besides Brazil, such as Chile, Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia.

Starting in 2021, S2, as a business development company, entered «standby» mode, as its «manager/traveling cashier» took on new institutional/associative challenges at that time. However, from this experience, new opportunities and «institutional/associative» contacts emerged in Brazil and other Latin American countries.

We have reached the current point, almost 10 years after the first S2 initiative… of course, 10 years more experienced and prepared for the (re)birth of this «new» project. The brand has received a new interpretation, moving away from the «Triple Bottom Line (TBL)» or sustainability tripod proposal (which, of course, remains important) to position itself as a company that will seek «business squared» in LATAM countries… as mentioned, these last 10 years have been years of good experiences and stories, challenges, and commercial achievements in various countries in the region.

MBCB

COLLABORATOR PARTNER

The Low Carbon Mobility Cooperation Agreement for Brazil – MBCB is an initiative aimed at promoting the transition to low-carbon mobility in Brazil’s transportation sector, respecting technological neutrality and fostering neo-industrialization.

Our group stands out for bringing together the entire mobility chain – including the country’s leading automakers, companies and entities from the sugar-energy and biogas sectors, system manufacturers and auto parts industries, technology and engineering associations, aftermarket entities, and labor unions. Together, we form a major task force to reduce carbon emissions from both light and heavy vehicles, including cars, buses, trucks, agricultural machinery, and construction equipment.

Brazil has great potential to lead the energy transition in transportation by leveraging its natural resources and expertise in biofuels. To achieve this, it is essential to support the viable decarbonization of transportation in Brazil by utilizing all available low-carbon solutions. Brazil can reduce its CO² emissions in transportation by promoting bioelectric neo-industrialization, creating jobs and income, and strengthening its global competitiveness.
