General information
Date: 27th and 28th of April, 2022
Location: Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center.
Registration
As a registered attendee, you will be welcomed at the registration desk by the Energyear team. We will provide you with your personal accreditation to give you access to the congress upon presenting a proof of identity (ID card, driving license or similar).
It is not necessary to print any document or paper ticket, let’s take care of the environment.
What's included?
Your ENERGYEAR ESPAÑA attendance ticket includes the following:
- Access to the Networking platform where you can arrange 1-1 meetings with other participants to explore business opportunities face-to-face.
- Networking coffee break day 1 and day 2. Includes coffee, tea and refreshments.
- Networking lunch day 1 and day 2. Includes a selection of starters, main courses, desserts, soft drinks and coffee/tea to choose from.
- Drinks reception at the end of day 1 and day 2. Includes a selection of wine, beer, soft drinks and a selection of Spanish tapas to choose from.
- ENERGYEAR ESPAÑA congress magazine and additional materials.
- Congress recordings and final report.
Accommodation
Energyear has agreed a special rate with the Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center.
Special rate: 110€/night. Includes accomodation and continental breakfast.
Applicable dates: from Tuesday the 26th of April until Friday the 29th of April
Booking deadline: until Monday the 25th of April.
Travelling to Madrid
By plane: the Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) is conveniently located just 6km away from the Congress Venue. This is an international airport with frequent connections to main European cities and overseas.
By train: Energyear has agreed a special rate with RENFE, the national train operator. Please book your ticket at www.renfe.com following these steps:
- Select your train with your preferred seat option (Basico, Elige, Comfort, Premium).
- During the purchasing process in the ‘special options, other rates and discounts’ please select the discount type ‘Congresos y Ferias’ followed by entering the authorisation number (Numero Autorización) 052207583. Then follow check out process as usual.
Commuting to the venue
The hotel provides a complimentary free shuttle service from/to the airport.
The venue can be reached by public bus from different main stations.

Covid Protocol
The Energyear’s Covid Free protocol is intended to ensure the safety of all participants in the Congress. The protocol guidelines are clear and mandatory for all attendees.
- Temperature control: This point is located in an isolated reception area prior to registration and the event rooms.
- Mandatory use of the mask: Each participant will receive a hygiene pack at the registration area of the event, consisting of an FPP2 mask and an individual container of hand sanitiser. The use of the supplied mask will be mandatory to guarantee its perfect filtering conditions. The Energyear protocol requires the use of the mask in the entire event area in order to guarantee the safety of all participants.
- Meeting rooms: All meeting rooms will have a cleaning team that will be in charge of disinfecting the entire room between each meeting.
- Food and beverages: Participants who are actively eating or drinking should be seated or placed at a table, counter or other stationary location.
We kindly ask all attendees to take responsibility to ensure safety for all participants taking part in the congress.

Networking Platform
As an attendee of the congress, you will receive a dedicated access to the Energyear meeting platform, which will be available from Wednesday 20th of April until the 6th of May. This platform will allow you to connect with all registered participants, and arrange 1-1 meetings to explore business opportunities. The platform will distinguish between face-to-face and virtual attendees to facilite meetings onsite.
