En espa\u00f1ol se conoce habitualmente como TONC, Temperatura de Operaci\u00f3n Nominal de la C\u00e9lula.<\/p><p>La NOCT permite estimar qu\u00e9 temperatura puede alcanzar la c\u00e9lula fotovoltaica cuando el m\u00f3dulo trabaja en condiciones m\u00e1s pr\u00f3ximas a la operaci\u00f3n real que las utilizadas en los ensayos STC. Este dato es especialmente importante porque la temperatura de funcionamiento influye directamente en la tensi\u00f3n, la potencia y el rendimiento energ\u00e9tico del <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000080; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #000080; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/energyear.com\/es\/diccionario-energetico\/string-fotovoltaico-que-es-como-funciona-configuracion\/\">string fotovoltaico<\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/p><p>En t\u00e9rminos generales, una NOCT m\u00e1s baja indica que el m\u00f3dulo tiene una mayor capacidad para disipar el calor bajo las condiciones de referencia. No debe interpretarse como la temperatura m\u00e1xima que alcanzar\u00e1 el panel ni como una temperatura constante durante su funcionamiento. Tradicionalmente, la NOCT se ha asociado a unas condiciones de referencia pr\u00f3ximas a las siguientes:<\/p><ul><li>Irradiancia solar: 800 W\/m\u00b2.<\/li><li>Temperatura ambiente: 20 \u00b0C.<\/li><li>Velocidad del viento: aproximadamente 1 m\/s.<\/li><li>Montaje: m\u00f3dulo instalado en una configuraci\u00f3n abierta que permita la circulaci\u00f3n de aire.<\/li><\/ul><p>Estas condiciones permiten comparar el comportamiento t\u00e9rmico de distintos m\u00f3dulos utilizando una referencia com\u00fan. La norma IEC 60904-5 contempla m\u00e9todos para determinar la temperatura equivalente de c\u00e9lula y su aplicaci\u00f3n en la determinaci\u00f3n de la NOCT. Para ampliar la referencia normativa puede consultarse la\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/webstore.iec.ch\/en\/publication\/80457\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IEC 60904-5 sobre temperatura equivalente de c\u00e9lula y NOCT<\/a><\/span>.<\/p><p>Es importante entender que la TONC no representa necesariamente la temperatura que tendr\u00e1 el m\u00f3dulo en una planta fotovoltaica concreta. En un emplazamiento con alta irradiancia, temperaturas ambientales elevadas y poca ventilaci\u00f3n, la temperatura de las c\u00e9lulas puede superar ampliamente el valor indicado como NOCT.<\/p><h2>Diferencia entre NOCT y condiciones STC<\/h2><p>La NOCT no debe confundirse con las STC (Standard Test Conditions) utilizadas para determinar la potencia nominal de un m\u00f3dulo fotovoltaico. Las condiciones STC establecen un entorno de ensayo normalizado que permite comparar las caracter\u00edsticas el\u00e9ctricas de diferentes m\u00f3dulos. Entre sus par\u00e1metros principales se encuentran una irradiancia de 1.000 W\/m\u00b2 y una temperatura de c\u00e9lula de 25 \u00b0C.<\/p><p>La diferencia fundamental es que en STC la temperatura de la c\u00e9lula est\u00e1 fijada en 25 \u00b0C, mientras que la NOCT pretende caracterizar la temperatura que alcanza el m\u00f3dulo bajo unas condiciones ambientales determinadas. Por ello, aunque un m\u00f3dulo tenga una potencia nominal determinada en STC, durante la operaci\u00f3n real sus c\u00e9lulas pueden trabajar frecuentemente a temperaturas considerablemente superiores a 25 \u00b0C.<\/p><p>Esta diferencia es relevante porque, en los m\u00f3dulos fotovoltaicos de silicio, un incremento de la temperatura de la c\u00e9lula provoca normalmente una reducci\u00f3n de la tensi\u00f3n y de la potencia m\u00e1xima disponible. Los coeficientes de temperatura especificados en la ficha t\u00e9cnica permiten cuantificar este comportamiento.<\/p><h2>\u00bfC\u00f3mo influye la NOCT en el rendimiento de un m\u00f3dulo fotovoltaico?<\/h2><p>La NOCT resulta \u00fatil para comprender c\u00f3mo puede comportarse t\u00e9rmicamente un m\u00f3dulo una vez instalado. La temperatura de las c\u00e9lulas fotovoltaicas depende principalmente de la radiaci\u00f3n solar recibida, de la temperatura ambiente, del viento y de la capacidad del m\u00f3dulo y de su estructura de montaje para disipar el calor. Como aproximaci\u00f3n sencilla, la temperatura de c\u00e9lula puede estimarse a partir de la temperatura ambiente, la irradiancia y el valor de NOCT. Una expresi\u00f3n simplificada utilizada habitualmente es:<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Tc \u2248 Ta + [(NOCT \u2212 20) \/ 800] \u00d7 G<\/b><\/p><p>Donde:<\/p><ul><li>Tc: temperatura estimada de la c\u00e9lula fotovoltaica en \u00b0C.<\/li><li>Ta: temperatura ambiente en \u00b0C.<\/li><li>NOCT: temperatura nominal de operaci\u00f3n de la c\u00e9lula en \u00b0C.<\/li><li>G: irradiancia incidente sobre el m\u00f3dulo en W\/m\u00b2.<\/li><\/ul><p>Esta expresi\u00f3n debe entenderse como una aproximaci\u00f3n. Los modelos t\u00e9rmicos utilizados en simulaciones profesionales pueden incorporar otras variables como velocidad del viento, eficiencia del m\u00f3dulo, absorci\u00f3n de radiaci\u00f3n y configuraci\u00f3n de montaje. El <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/pvpmc.sandia.gov\/modeling-guide\/2-dc-module-iv\/cell-temperature\/noct-cell-temperature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PV Performance Modeling Collaborative de Sandia National Laboratories<\/a><\/span> dispone de un modelo espec\u00edfico basado en NOCT que considera precisamente la irradiancia sobre el plano del m\u00f3dulo, la temperatura ambiente, la velocidad del viento, la eficiencia y la configuraci\u00f3n de montaje.<\/p><p>La ventilaci\u00f3n tiene especial importancia. Un m\u00f3dulo instalado sobre una estructura abierta puede disipar calor por ambas caras, mientras que un m\u00f3dulo situado muy pr\u00f3ximo a una cubierta puede presentar una temperatura de operaci\u00f3n superior debido a una menor circulaci\u00f3n de aire. Actualmente tambi\u00e9n es frecuente encontrar el t\u00e9rmino NMOT, siglas de Nominal Module Operating Temperature o temperatura nominal de operaci\u00f3n del m\u00f3dulo. El cambio de \u201cCell\u201d a \u201cModule\u201d refleja una caracterizaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica centrada en el comportamiento del m\u00f3dulo completo bajo unas condiciones de referencia.<\/p><p>La norma internacional <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/webstore.iec.ch\/en\/publication\/86013\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IEC 61853-2:2026<\/a><\/span><\/span> establece procedimientos para determinar la Nominal Module Operating Temperature y evaluar el comportamiento de los m\u00f3dulos fotovoltaicos bajo determinadas condiciones ambientales y de montaje. Por tanto, es posible encontrar actualmente tanto NOCT como NMOT dependiendo del fabricante, la ficha t\u00e9cnica, la norma utilizada o la herramienta de simulaci\u00f3n.
