Il suo obiettivo principale \u00e8 quello di ridurre la potenza massima richiesta alla rete elettrica in determinati periodi, ottimizzando sia i costi energetici che l'efficienza del sistema.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1547\">Nel settore delle energie rinnovabili e dello stoccaggio energetico, il \u201cPeak Shaving\u201d \u00e8 diventato una delle applicazioni pi\u00f9 importanti dei sistemi BESS (Battery Energy Storage System). Nei momenti di maggiore consumo elettrico, le batterie forniscono parte dell\u2019energia necessaria per alimentare l\u2019impianto, evitando che l\u2019intera domanda venga coperta direttamente dalla rete. Di conseguenza, la potenza massima registrata diminuisce e si riducono i costi associati alla fornitura di potenza e agli oneri di domanda.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"2076\">La crescente elettrificazione dell\u2019industria, l\u2019aumento dell\u2019autoconsumo fotovoltaico e l\u2019espansione dei sistemi di accumulo hanno favorito lo sviluppo del Peak Shaving come strumento essenziale per migliorare la flessibilit\u00e0 energetica. Attualmente, questa strategia viene applicata in impianti industriali, edifici commerciali, centri logistici, ospedali, data center, infrastrutture critiche e grandi impianti rinnovabili che mirano a ottimizzare il proprio consumo elettrico e a ridurre la bolletta energetica.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2078\" data-end=\"2465\">Sebbene il concetto possa sembrare semplice, il \u201cPeak Shaving\u201d richiede un controllo preciso del comportamento dell\u2019impianto. In un impianto dotato di un sistema BESS, le batterie vengono caricate quando la domanda \u00e8 ridotta, c\u2019\u00e8 un surplus di energia rinnovabile o il prezzo dell\u2019elettricit\u00e0 \u00e8 pi\u00f9 vantaggioso. Successivamente, quando il consumo aumenta e si avvicina al limite di potenza stabilito, il sistema inizia a scaricare le batterie per fornire parte dell\u2019energia necessaria.<\/p><p data-start=\"3124\" data-end=\"3365\">In questo modo, la domanda rilevata dal contatore elettrico rimane entro valori prestabiliti, evitando sanzioni economiche e riducendo la potenza contrattuale necessaria per il funzionamento dell'impianto. La riduzione dei picchi di consumo consente di diminuire i costi associati alla contrattazione di potenza, migliorare l\u2019utilizzo degli impianti elettrici esistenti e ridurre la necessit\u00e0 di potenziare trasformatori, linee o apparecchiature di distribuzione. Dal punto di vista del sistema elettrico, il Peak Shaving contribuisce inoltre a migliorare la stabilit\u00e0 della rete.<\/p><p data-start=\"4652\" data-end=\"4913\">Riducendo la domanda nelle ore di picco, diminuisce la necessit\u00e0 di mettere in funzione centrali di generazione di riserva, solitamente alimentate a combustibili fossili, favorendo una maggiore integrazione delle energie rinnovabili. Negli impianti con autoconsumo fotovoltaico, questa strategia consente di aumentare il livello di autoconsumo, sfruttando l\u2019energia precedentemente immagazzinata nelle batterie nei momenti in cui la produzione solare non \u00e8 pi\u00f9 sufficiente a coprire la domanda. Oltre al risparmio economico, il Peak Shaving migliora l\u2019efficienza operativa delle aziende, aumenta la resilienza energetica e riduce l\u2019impatto ambientale associato al consumo di energia elettrica proveniente da fonti convenzionali.<\/p><h2 data-section-id=\"8ecams\" data-start=\"5794\" data-end=\"5838\">Principali applicazioni del peak shaving<\/h2><p data-start=\"5840\" data-end=\"6150\">Il \u201cPeak Shaving\u201d viene utilizzato in un\u2019ampia variet\u00e0 di settori in cui la domanda di energia elettrica presenta notevoli variazioni nel corso della giornata. La combinazione di sistemi di accumulo, energie rinnovabili e piattaforme di gestione energetica ha ampliato notevolmente le sue possibilit\u00e0 di applicazione. Tra i principali ambiti in cui viene impiegata questa strategia spiccano:<\/p><ul data-start=\"6225\" data-end=\"7822\" data-is-only-node=\"\" data-is-last-node=\"\"><li data-section-id=\"v1iy0\" data-start=\"6225\" data-end=\"6430\"><strong data-start=\"6227\" data-end=\"6258\">Impianti industriali:<\/strong> Riduce i picchi di domanda causati da macchinari ad alta potenza, forni elettrici,
