TUTORIALS: USE OF THE VIRTUAL PLATFORM ENERGYEAR 2022

It is a great joy to have you on board for Energyear Caribe 2022 which will take place on October 19th & 20th, at InterContinental Real Santo Domingo Hotel
(Link a Google Maps).

In this communication you will find all the necessary information for the access and use of the Networking and Streaming Platform that will be available from October 19th to 20th.

 

ADVANTAGES OF USING THE PLATFORM 

Networking: this platform is a tool that Energyear makes available to attendees and partners to maximise the effectiveness of networking during the Congress and thus maximise business opportunities for attendees.

Streaming sessions: on-line attendees will be able to watch the sessions through the virtual-stage section.

 

HOW TO ACCESS?

Access the platform in three easy steps:

1) Click on this LINK 

2) Enter your e-mail address (it must be the same as the one you used to register for the congress).

3) You will then receive an access code (each time you log in you will receive a new code).

PLATFORM FUNCTIONALITIES

  • MY PROFILE.Edit your details easily – remember to upload a photo to make your profile more visually attractive!
  • MAIN STAGE: On the main stage, you will have access to the streaming of the Energyear Italy 2022 conferences.
  • AGENDA: consult in this section all the sessions of the congress. Click on the sessions you are interested in to see the speakers and add them to your calendar to receive alerts.
  • SPEAKERS: see all the speakers of the event easily. By clicking on each of them you will see the session they are participating in and access to their LinkedIn profile.
  • PARTICIPANTS: Here you can see the list of all the participants (differentiated between on-site and virtual).
  • SPONSORS: here you will access the profile of all the partners that make the congress possible. Information, product/service catalogues and a list of their representatives present at the congress).
  • CHAT: In this section you will be able to send private messages to other attendees as well as participate in the general congress chat.

NETWORKING AND MEETING SCHEDULER 1-1

Much of your experience as an ENERGYEAR attendee will depend on your use of the Networking platform. Below we explain in a few simple steps how to maximise your business opportunities.

  1. Remember to fill in your profile and put a profile picture. This will maximise visits to your profile.
  2. Search for relevant attendees through the PARTICIPANTS section. Use the filters to find attendees by organisation or by type of attendance (face-to-face or virtual) or search directly by name.
  3. Schedule 1-1 meetings by visiting participants’ profiles. When you visit the profile, you will be able to see the attendee’s information as well as their scheduler to request a 1-1 meeting. Once you have selected the date and time you can indicate in the message window the reason for the meeting. Once confirmed both parties will receive an email confirming the meeting time and room.
  4. If there is an attendee you don’t know and you prefer to start a conversation without requesting a meeting, you can easily send them a message via the chat functionality.
