Star Energia is a company specializing in the design of photovoltaic energy plants. It was founded in 2007, prior to the regulatory framework of the Energy Account, in order to develop stand-alone photovoltaic systems for the use of electricity in remote areas.
The company achieves its goal by integrating all the necessary processes to reach the first grid connection — meaning the introduction of the first kWh of energy into the power grid: from identifying potential sites, to environmental and electrical design, as well as permitting activities, and finally coordinating with all the relevant local authorities.

The diverse expertise within the company and the long-standing experience in specific know-how enable the realization of customized projects that adapt to regulatory and technological changes, often overcoming the resistance of the local hosting community. Photovoltaic, agrivoltaic, photovoltaic integrated with agriculture, stand-alone storage systems, and bi-directional storage systems are just some of the design evolutions that have emerged in recent years.
