We are the only association in Colombia that exclusively represents the power generation sector. Our fifteen (15) member companies represent 85% of Colombia’s installed capacity.

We promote the development of the Colombian electricity market through free and healthy competition, with the purpose of favouring the sustainable growth of our members, the development of the national and international energy sector and the efficient functioning of the Colombian electricity market.

Acolgen is a private, non-profit, non-political trade organisation, created with the aim of promoting free and healthy competition and the sustainable and efficient development of its members and the Colombian electricity market, in particular the electricity generation activity.
