Founded in July 2022, Finlight is a financing platform for the self-consumption photovoltaic sector. Its shareholders include Brookfield Renewable*, one of the largest renewable energy funds in the world, as well as other Spanish investors with extensive experience in this sector.

Finlight’s mission is to support and drive the energy transition by financing solar energy projects to make them accessible to everyone. Its goal is to become the leading financial partner for companies in the energy sector in Spain through two main channels: its digital platform, which enables the delivery of the best financial solutions through a fast and simple process, and its strategy of financing and acquiring portfolios from other market players.

To date, it has supported more than 3,000 clients in Spain, financing over 100 MWp with an investment exceeding €75 million. The company has an ambitious expansion plan aiming to invest over €300 million in Spain and Europe over the next two years. To achieve this, it relies on a team of professionals with more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
