In the Iberian Península, Statkraft has a broad renewable portfolio and is a leader in the market for the sale of renewable energy in the future, with more than 60 PPAs signed with Spanish companies and more than 1.7 GW  represented of solar and wind capacity.  In this way, it has become one of the great drivers of the start-up of new renewable facilities in our country in recent years.

In the area of renewable development, Statkraft already operates 700 MW photovoltaic in Spain: 300 MWp correspond to Talayuela Solar, in the province of Cáceres, 200 MW to the four photovoltaic installations that the company operates in Alcalá de Guadaíra, in Seville; together with 200 more PV MW in the province of Cádiz.

Along with this capacity already in operation, the company develops 1,800 MW of wind and solar, more than 50 MWp currently under construction, which will come into operation in the coming weeks.
